Don't Tempt Me by Author Lori Foster

4 stars

This was my first book by Author Lori Foster. What can I say but I loved her style of writing and her story. It was just what I needed to fill my day and night; why not with a group of sexy handsome neighbors.

Don't Tempt Me is book 1 in the Guthrie Brothers series. We get to meet both brothers, Jason and Hogan. Jason has everything going for him. He works with his hands, there is just about nothing that he can not build or fix with them. He has steady work. But he is lacking that one thing that he wishes for, a true love. One like his brother, Hogan had. Or what should have been.

Hogan is at a loss. No job, no wife, living with his little brother, while also having to parent his teenage son, Colt. Hogan has it all or so he thought. But you never know what life will throw at you.

Enter, Honor Brown; new neighbor, pretty and has secrets. Secrets that she wants to keep private. She has more going on in her life than one her age should. But she would not trade what she does for anything. She had a hard life but has made the most out of it. She knows what it means to have someone in your corner. She just does not want to think about letting him go.

Ahhhh and there is Lexie. Honor's best friend, really her one true friend. While Honor is soft spoken and reserved, Lexie is the completely opposite; out going and says what she thinks. Whether you want to hear it or not. They were the perfect pair and showed what true friendship is.

As things heat up between Jason and Honor, Honor will have to learn to let people help her. They are not all out for themselves or to betlittle her for having help. Jason is determined to help Honor get her house into shape.

Jason continues to knock down the walls between Honor and him to show her what true love is. Will Honor embrace Jason with open arms or will he have to continue to fight for her?

I look forward to seeing what else is in store for the Guthrie Brothers and their friends.
