Ohhhh where to start but with this hot as sin cover that has me fanning myself thinking about Cole.  He was not only dirty sexy but also brainy.  He was like the complete guy once you were able to break through his tough man exterior which is exactly what Callie does.

Callie is a spoiled rich girl that knows the value of putting in a hard days work on the ranch but she has no time for romance or love, she has to get through college so that she can take over her family business.  But there are couple of problems along the way.  One being this attraction to ranch hand, Cole.

Cole knows what is to give it all up for family; which is exactly what he is doing this summer.  He is putting his family first.  He can not risk losing it all over a hot chick especially his bosses granddaughter.  But the way Cole feels from being around Callie or even just looking at her.  He knows he is in for a long hard summer.

As Callie and Cole figure out how to handle this attraction that they have for each other, they become friends and learn there is so much more to each other that just the chemistry they share.  Will they be able to survive a summer of being so close but not touching?  Or will they give in to the lust and deal with the ramifications after?

Country Heaven (Dare River Book 1) by Author Ava Miles

A copy of this book was provided via NetGalley for a honest review.

4 cowboy hats

This is my first book by Author Ava Miles but will not be my last.  I think I devoured this book once I started it a couple days ago.  I had to see how things played out for Tory and Rye.  The way of writing by the author keep me turning the pages and staying up til after 2 am to finish.  I have already downloaded The Chocolate Garden, book 2 in this series.  I was intrigued to see who is to blame for Rye's life being turned upside down.

Tory Simmons is just the girl next door who has done the right thing by her family.  She has been the one to take care of them.  But when she finds herself alone, she still continues to do what is right: working and paying the bills for her family.  She has a passion for cooking that she shared with her Grandma, without her, Tory would not be the person she is today.  So when an opportunity of helping her family is placed on her table, she does what any good girl does, she takes it not matter the cost to her heart.

Rye Crenshaw has it all or so it seems from the persona he shows the world.  But he has secrets that need to stay out of the spot light.  He is careful about his personal life and the people that he trust is just a handful.  One bite of Tory's cooking and he is hooked.  He will do anything to get her to be his personal chef.  He maybe a famous country singer but food speaks to his soul like it does Tory's.

Tory and Rye have to learn how to keep their lives professional, he is her boss after all.  But when Rye's past becomes part of his future, he will turn to Tory for the support that he needs even after having only know her a short time.  Life has a funny way of bringing people to you in your time of need.  As Rye's professional and personal life collide, will Tory be able to hang on from the backlash or will she leave Rye standing alone to pickup the pieces?

You Again (You Again #1) by Author Ashlee Mallory

A copy of this book was provided via NetGalley for a honest review.

3 stars

This was my first read by Author Ashlee Mallory and the first in her You Again series.  The underlying story lines were little to far fetched for me.  But the way the story was written was nice.  I enjoyed the build up of the mystery that had to be solved.  The other issue I had was the cover of the book really did not go with the story of the book.

We meet Allie McBride, school teacher, but with a very religious family, yet she does not seem to practice their faith.  She was always the shy girl in high school with a crush on the hot guy.  But when Sam Fratto returns to town not only does he turn Allie's world upside down personal but also professionally.  He is going to be teaching in the classroom next to hers.

As events seem to turn them toward each other for support, then to try to solve a murder, they learn things about each other that only makes the past become more present.  Will Allie and Sam be able to solve the mystery or will the murderer get away with it?

Perfectly Inappropriate by Author Stacey Kennedy

A copy of this book was provided via NetGalley for a honest review.

4 stars

This is the first book that I have read and reviewed for Author Stacey Kennedy and I have been asking myself  "Why"???  I need to go back and read more by her.

I completely enjoyed the way the story flowed.  I liked the character development and their relationship.  The only thing I did not like was reading the last page and wanting more.  I wanted more of Olivia and Noah.

Olivia Watts just the girl next door with such a big heart.  Everyone can see how much she loves just from meeting her.  Of course being so loving can cost you your own heartbreak.  But the best way to heal a broken heart is to get back out there.  Find someone that makes you feel whole again even if its just a fantasy.

Enter Noah Grant.  Strong demanding handsome devil.  Or maybe he is an angel in disguise.  Noah is just what Olivia needs and when they agree to just a week of hot sex and fun.  What is there to lose?

Sometimes fate has a funny way of putting you in the right place at the right time.  Can you find love in a week?  Noah does not think so but Olivia may just be the game changer for him.

Lawbreaker (Unbreakable #3) by Author Kat Bastion

A copy of this book was provided via NetGalley for a honest review.

4.5 stars

I do believe this is my favorite book that I have read this year.  It had passion, suspense, heartbreak, mystery and love.  The story flowed perfectly.  I could not put this book down and ended up finishing it at 2:54 am this morning.  It was a page turner for sure.

This is book 3 in the Unbreakable series by Author Kat Bastion.  You do not need to have read the first 2 book in the series to know the characters in this book.  I have not read the first two book in the series but plan to go back and do so.  Author Kat Bastion is on my radar for more of her books to read.

Shay and Ben.  What can I say.  Shay and Ben.  Their banner back and forth made the book.  Shay with her no taking crap attitude from anyone, knows how to survive.  She has learn the hard way but it prepared her for the day that she would meet Ben.  Oh Ben.  What can I say, he made my heart beat a little faster at his handsomeness and witty charm.  He also made Shay's heart beat a little faster too.  Of course she had to fight how she was feeling as life has a way of being cruel.  But Shay will have to learn to face her past to see her future.

Every Time I Fall (The Raeven Sisters Book 2) by Author Anna Karington

A copy of this book was provided via NetGalley for a honest review.

2 stars

This is the second book in the Raeven Sisters series and also my second book by the author. I thought I was going to enjoy this book as I was intrigued by the baby sister, Janet.  But as I read, I found that the main character, Hayden Lancaster, who was Janet's love interest was just awful.  I can understand having old girlfriends from the past make an appearance but not when every other female in the book was one of Hayden's exes.  Although most were not even his girlfriend but just weekend lovers.  Yet he keep them around him.  He employed them at his office.  I just could not get into his story of falling in love and wanting to be with Janet.

Every Time He Leaves (The Raeven Sisters Book 1) by Author Anna Karington

 2.5 stars

A copy of this book was provided via NetGalley for an honest review.

This was the debut book for Author Anna Karington, it was written nicely but the story just did not hold my attention like I wanted.  I found myself scanning over parts of the story especially the love/sex scenes between Lana and Jarek.  These scenes were just too long and detailed for my liking.  And having to grab lube every time just seemed strange to me.

I had a hard time connecting with the characters.  After so many years apart, Lana and Jarek did not seem to know how to communicate with each other even though they were now adults and no longer the teens.  The one character that intrigued me was Janet.  Lana's baby sister.  I have also been given a copy of book 2 in this series which is Janet's book.  Let see if Author Anna Karington woes me in that one.

Kiss the Girl (Naughty Princess Club series) Book 3 by Author Tara Sivec

4 stars

A copy of this book was provided via NetGalley for an honest review.

This was the 3rd installment in the Naughty Princess Club series. It was super cute, full of laughs and of course hotness from both Ariel and Eric.  We finally get to see what has been keeping Ariel back from joining the girls in their business adventures.  But once this is out in the open, there is no holding Ariel back.  As usual Tara Sivec delivers another fun filled book that had me turning the pages until the last page then wanting more.
