I enjoyed this short read from Author Chantal Fernando. We get to
see inside the MC president, Talon's life. Things in the Wing Dragons MC have been crazy with Talon unsure who of his men he can trust. Then when one of them in killed in the clubhouse which should be a safe place for them, he can trust no one. He must figure out who the mole is within his group and take care of him.

Then there is Tia. She is the one lady that seems to get to Talon no matter what. He has been trying to keep his distances from her. She doesnt belong to him but has ties to another MC which causes Tia to be off limits. Until Tia takes matters into her own hands. She wants Talon; in her bed, in her life. So will do whatever she can to make this happen. Talon is no match once Tia is determined to show him exactly what he is missing.

As things progress between Talon and Tia, will he be able to keep her safe from the enemy with his walls? And what about the enemies outside?

I can not wait to see what is going to happen with the Wing Dragons MC....with Talon & Tia....

Wrong Question, Right Answer-Author Elle Casey

This book was given via NetGalley for an honest opinion.

3.5 stars

This is book 3 in the Bourbon Street Boys Series, I have to say that it was probably my least favorite one.  Although still good, it just was hard to like Toni.  She was an likeable character in the beginning of the book.  I think I finally starting feeling ok about her midway through the book.  She was just a hard person to like.

Lucky was just adorable.  He seems like a guy any girl would be lucky to have.   He did have issues with letting go of guilt from the past but just adores.

Toni and Lucky have history together.  They have know each other more than half their lives and have always had a thing for each other but never acted on it except for a kiss when they were teenagers.  Now that they are older; one night of guilty pleasure will change their relationship completely.

Lucky and Toni have hidden issues of guilty that they both must learn to let go.  They must also learn to allow others in; sometimes you do need someone else.  As they learn to lean on each other; their relationship grows into what it could have been years ago.  But they have a lifetime to be happy.

His Secrets-Lisa Renee Jones

This book was given via NetGalley for an honest opinion.

4 stars

This novella is told from Chris's POV which was such an intriguing read.  We get to see how he thinks, truly feels and what he would do to keep Sara from knowing the truth about his dark side.  But he knows he has to be completely honest with her before he can truly be free to marry her without secrets between them.  Where else to show her but the place that starts it all, Paris.

As the two of them travel to Paris, Chris hopes that once he reveals the truth to Sara that she will still be there to continue loving him for who he is.  Sara has such a big heart, she would do anything for the man she loves, even if it means learning the truth.  But sometimes love is about forgiving and growing from from the truth.

While in Paris, a part of Chris's past comes calling for him.  He will have no choice but to face Amber with Sara by his side.  He just hopes that Sara will be ok when it is all over.  Maybe Chris finally facing his past and letting go of the things that he can not control will also help him.

Of course Author Lisa Renee Jones does not disappoint in this novella.  I loved every page.  And the interaction between Chris and Sara was perfect.  It goes to show how far you are willing to go for the person that you love.

As book 3 wrapped up Cassidy and Shaw's enemy turn love relationship into a new adventure.  They are a family now.  It is not just about them two.  Nope, they have a little baby to think about now.  As Shaw continues to work and put in more and more hours, Cassidy starts to feel like she is parenting alone.  She decided to stay home to be with the baby but holds alittle resentment toward Shaw.  She misses her adult life but loves her baby.

Shaw and Cassidy seems to be growing apart and the baby grows older.  What is there left to do?  Shaw is constantly out with a client, while Cassidy is home tending to their son.  As he gets bigger, he worships his father, even though he is not around alot.  Cassidy feels like she must do something not only for her but for their son.

Shaw thinks he is doing what is best for his family.  He is providing for them; a house to live in, food to eat and money to buy whatever they want.  But sometimes having all the material things means nothing when they really only need you.

Cassidy and Shaw are headed to counseling with Shaw arguing about it all the time.  He does not understand what someone will do to help them.  But if it means keeping Cassidy from leaving he is willing to do anything.  As counsel takes a turn toward sexy time, Cassidy and Shaw both realize that they have been missing each other more than they thought.  They have been missing the intimate times that connect them first as lovers then partners.

Things seems to be heading in the right direction.  Cassidy feels better about herself and their relationship.  Shaw learns that he needs to spend quality time with his family.  As there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, work throws a curve ball into the mix.  How will Shaw manage with his boss leaving?  Is he going to have to put in more hours?  And who will the new partner be?  Will he like the dude?  Oh Shaw is in for a major surprise.  But I thought the ending was just perfect for the relationship that started out in book 1.

Looking forward to reading more from Author CL Parker.
