Review of Author Kristen Proby-Saving Grace

4 stars

This was a cute short novella about Grace Douglas and Jacob Berkley.  I enjoyed their characters and the banner that they had with each other throughout the book.  The chemistry was hot.  The description of Cunningham Falls, Montana has me wanting to book my own ski trip.

Grace Douglas is anything but graceful.  She has the ability to trip over her own feet.  But when her best friends plan a weekend for her to learn to ski and maybe have a hot night with a ski instructor, she is reluctant to go, as you can imagine, she knows she might end up breaking her leg.  After much convincing, Grace heads up the mountain to her weekend retreat.

Jacob Berkley is checking out his resort.  He has it all.  Rich, handsome, women are plentiful but when he is mistaken for the ski instructor, he jumps at the chances to be a normal guy.  But teaching this beauty to ski might be trickier than Jacob thought.

As Jacob shows Grace the ropes on the slope, there is something between them.  There is no denying it.  When they give in to their desires, this is exactly what Grace needed.  Jacob too.  But when the sun comes up and the weekend is over, will they be able to let the weekend be just a fling?  Or will the desire and chemistry between the two of them cause them to want more?
