I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was easy reading and had me laughing at
times. I loved that Morgan was from Charleston, SC which is just a hop skip and
jump from where I lived, I felt like I could relate to all her southern
ways. As for Cal and the other Pierce
Brothers, they were each handsome and more than able to do things with their
hands.
Morgan Raines, designer to the famous, woman who
knows what she wants and will do whatever needs to be done to get it and does
her job with a smile. She was able to
hang with the boys on the building site and not only bring some sunshine to the
job site but yielded her own hammer. She
is not afraid to get dirty if that is what the job requires to make her clients
dream homes come true.
Cal Pierce is the guy next door with the 2 dogs,
great looking and a successful building business. Or so he thought until his father puts a kink
into things. So not only will he have to
show that he can turn a profit with his company but he will have to do so with
the help of his 2 brothers, whom, left 5 years ago and never looked back. Then add to that, the southern belle, Morgan,
who is determined to make Cal’s life a living hell.
As Morgan and Cal come to an agreement on Pierce
Brothers next building, there will be more than hammers and nails flying. The attraction between the two of them is
almost too much. But they are professionals. They will get this job done and nothing will
happen between them. Right?
Can Morgan bring the dream house to her Hollywood
couple? Or will they not be wowed by the
Charleston Belle’s idea of what they want?
Can Cal work with his brothers to get Pierce Brothers back into the green? Or will they fail, having to resolve the
company and each start over, alone? Will
Morgan and Cal be able to keep their hands to the job at task? Or will they wander onto each other?
I am looking forward to the next in this
series. I can only imagine the trouble
that Author Jennifer Probst will have the Pierce Brothers into.
